Green joins Leicestershire on loan

The 26-year-old has already featured for the Foxes in the competition following two earlier loan spells, but he will continue to be available for Somerset’s remaining matches in white-ball cricket during this time.

Somerset CCC Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: “It’s important for our players who are on the fringes of the First XI to be playing as much competitive cricket as possible and this move will ensure that Ben will be match-sharp when called upon for us.

“Somerset, Ben and indeed Leicestershire have benefitted from his previous spells at Grace Road, and we look forward to welcoming him back to the Cooper Associates County Ground.”
